Since 1998 Southern Illinois Storm Shelters, Inc. has been providing families with the protection and comfort they deserve. Since our humble beginnings we have grown to become one of the premier storm shelter manufacturers of the Meliniunm. We produced our first model in 1998, after two successful years, we set out to build the ultimate tornado shelter. In January of 2001, after careful market studies were performed and evaluated, we completely redesigned and developed an affordable quality storm shelter to protect you and your loved ones in the most severe weather conditions, while providing you with one of the safest, roomiest, and most easily accessible storm shelters available. As you can see in the picture, our shelter protrudes only about 8 inches out of the ground, our shelter looks great in any location with very little landscaping.
